A beautiful chalk drawing of the Govan Ferry Glasgow by the listed Scottish artist
James Reid Prentice. It is signed with initials JRP and dated 21st May 1866. A fascinating
eyewitness drawing of a time when ferries plied the River Clyde and ships were built
using wooden scaffolding.
The paper has some surface damage but that is reflected in the price. It will frame
well. Verso is a drawing of Killiecrankie dated 2nd December 1865.
